After an extended session of un-focused Facebook lurking, I stumbled upon a "band" called I Show Myself. The group is more a clique of hipster LA djs than a "band", and all of the photos show them having a fun time surrounded by hoards of American Apparel poster childs and wayfarer-rockin' boys.


Nonetheless, what kept me lurking on the group's facebook was the photo collection of Daveigh Chase. The name may sound familiar; she played creepy well girl Samara in The Ring. In real life, we love her long breezy hair and simple style. The pictures of Daveigh with the men are adorable.

Bleach Brat

Yes. You can wear your sunglasses at night.

We love the 90s. The music, the movies, and of course -- the fashion. It's that whole "fuck you.. but I love you" air that get's us craving tight cut-outs and sheer black.

Sometimes all you need on a warm night is some jams and a bottle of wine. No, it's not wasted youth... it's called enjoying the seconds that pass by before you.

Both the gray cut-out dress and sheer black crop jacket were found in San Francisco -- the city is full of inspiration.

The jacket fits anyone from a medium to a large. Use it to mystify any outfit. The sheer sleeves mixed with the heavy black&white contrast compliments anything. Remember, simple is best.

The grey cut-out dress hugs curves and shows some leg. The soft fabric clings comfortably.Love the peek-a-boo cleavage and how this dress can be worn out or in... it's up to you!

Playground Blues

On Brentwood nights, the warm East Bay air flows at a gentle breeze. The starless sky lays out the scenery for streaming thoughts. There is no anger, no excitement, the perfect calm sets the stage for laying back and enjoying the night.

The soundtrack is set.  They aren't doing anything in particular. Best Coast plays in the background as they sit and appreciate their time.

We found these pieces in one of our regular San Franciscan thrifting-haunts.
